Each pail of driveway sealer covers 300-350 square feet. The permeability of your pavement affects coverage. Be sure to measure and buy accordingly.
We have been selling external and chamber vacuum sealers for over a decade and can provide you with detailed and useful information on selecting an appropriate machine. You can find our entire lineup of vacuum sealers here, external sealer bags here and chamber vacuum sealer bags here.
Step 1
Fully clean off any debris or dirt on your pavement surface. The surface must be completely clean before applying sealer.
Step 2
Trim shrubs and edge along turf areas. Tape all surfaces adjacent to the pavement you do not want sealed. This includes concrete surfaces, brick, gutters, or anything that might come in contact with the sealer. For neater edges, you can use a dry brush to apply driveway sealer.

Step 3
Open the bucket and begin to pour the sealer from one side of the pavement to the other pouring a six-inch wide bead of sealer. Start at your garage or carport and work toward the street.
Step 4
Using a driveway squeegee tool, spread a very thin layer of sealer moving down the length of the driveway. Apply the second coat from one edge to the other in a perpendicular manner. Make sure the coats overlap and cover 100% of the asphalt surface.
